The Customer Service Specialist II assists with all facets of post-sales work and importing logistics for the company. This is a permanent position that will be remote / work-from-home schedule and reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL Reliable and fast Internet connection required for remote work. High School diploma required;
2-year college degree preferred. 2 years of purchasing or logistics experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Ability to type 60 WPM. Very strong customer service skills. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Proficiency with QuickBooks is required. Strong ethical foundation and high integrity.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Enter, update, process and monitor orders for the various products the company sells accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and periodically update purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists. Reconcile and process vendor / supplier bills.
Research all vendor and customer pricing as necessary. Consistently engage with overseas vendors and sales team to manage and expedite orders.
Track and process all documentation and billing for imports in a timely manner with our suppliers and customs broker. Trace progress of all overseas shipments and update database.
Compile statistical data and provide analysis on overseas shipments to management. Assist customers with their requests and issues in a courteous and effective manner.
Assist with logistics planning involved with the pickup and delivery of products to meet the customers' needs. Maintain and monitor QuickBooks database as a senior resource.
Properly and efficiently file electronic and paper documents. Design and modify customer artwork for packaging and communicate specifications to overseas vendors.
Generate and reconcile various daily and weekly reports. Perform additional tasks as requested by management. Other duties as assigned.
