We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager based in Lakewood, Colorado to provide team support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Management Team with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in retail, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
- Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers.
- Attend and participate in weekly construction meetings at various project site locations.
- Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence.
- Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.
- Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.
- Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.
- Observe vendors and subcontractors onsite while providing technical support.
- Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related engineering discipline.
- Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
- QA/QC Certification from USACE or NAVFAC at time of hire is preferred; or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyst quantitative data and information.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
- Proficiency in Procore or other PM software.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Valid Driver's License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
- OSHA 30
- CPR and Blood Born Pathogens Certification
- Ability to travel as required. Could be up to 50% depending on project needs.
