What are the responsibilities and job description for the Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist - $65/hour! position at Amergis Educational Staffing?
This position is for a K-12 specialized education school/program is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The ideal candidate must have a master's degree and CT state certification in speech and language pathology. Two to four years of experience in special education is preferred.
The role requires the acquisition and maintenance of certifications in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and CPR/First Aid. The SLP should be well-versed in independently writing IEP goals and objectives, collecting data on them, completing school evaluations, and presenting them in PPTs.
Please note, providing support in the classroom differs significantly from the specialized skill set required. This is a contract to direct hire position!
