Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much respected school district in Warren, NJ who are currently seeking Paraprofessionals with ABA experience to assist them on a contractual basis for the 24/25 school year.Details of the position include: Classroom Behavioral AideKey Responsibilities: Assist teachers in implementing individualized learning plans (ABA therapy)Provide support to students in both small group and one-on-one settings.Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive, focused environment.Foster an inclusive environment and be a positive role model for students.-Some students might require toileting (All aides must be okay with toileting)-All aides must have experience with deescalating aggressive behaviors.-Aide must be comfortable with handling hitting, biting, kicking, scratching, and spitting.Location: Warren, NJStart: ASAPDuration: 24/25 school yearFacility Type: Special Needs SchoolPay Rate: $23 per hourHours: M-F 8:30 AM - 2:30 PMExperience: -Prior experience working in special education-ABA ExperiencePlease feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
