What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time School Psychologist in Colorado Springs position at Amergis Educational Staffing?
The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
This contract is located near Colorado Springs, CO and will last the rest of the school year school year. The 22.5 hour a week contract pays $65/hour for locals and $1630/week for travelers . Previous experience working with in a students is required.
Before applying for the position, please ensure you are eligible to work in Colorado as a School Psychologist License or already a licensed with the Colorado Department of Education. Pending licenses are accepted.
Minimum Requirements:
Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
Master’s degree in psychology preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Salary : $65 - $1,630
