Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks to hire a highly skilled Behavior Technician, also known as a Behavior Support Specialist, to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing educational and behavioral services to children and adults with special needs.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. To excel in this position, you must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of pediatric experience, which is preferred but not required.
In addition to your education and experience, we require that you have current CPR certification if applicable, complete a TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if necessary, and meet all federal, state, and local requirements. You must also be at least 18 years old and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
