What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver - Morning Shift position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
Morning Shift 7am-3 : 30pm, 32 hours per week
The Patient Care Technician provides personal care and related services to patients. The Patient Care Technician may operate as a patient's caregiver under the direction, instruction and supervision of a doctor, nurse and / or medical professional.
Minimum Requirements :
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one (1) year of successful work experience with elderly community required
- Hoyer Lift experience required
- National Certified Patient Care Technician (NCPCT) certification preferred and may be required per state / contract
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
