What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time School Float RN position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
Full time hours dependent on elementary, middle, or high school varying start times from 7:30am-9am
phone screen interviews, typically done in the morning
MD 486 hiring requires 20 days out from initial offer
Assigned school(s) determined following interview, add any location preferences necessary
RN a must, no LPNs will be considered
The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program
- Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
- One year of professionalexperience, preferred
- Current CPR
- PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
