What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Hospice – On Call position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
The LPN/LVN – Hospice is responsible for providing care, comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The LPN/LVN – Hospice assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient care in various settings. The LPN/LVN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The LPN/LVN will also demonstrate critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse for the state in which the nurse practices
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
