What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Lab Technician position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine tests ina medical laboratory to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment ofdisease.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician(MLT) program and successful completion of national exam administered by theBoard of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathology preferred andmay be required per state/contract
- One year experience as a ML required unless certified as anMLT in state practicing
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
