Part Time Virtual Tutor

Position: Math or ELA Tutor

Hourly Rate: 18 Dollars per Hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday,

2-30 Hours per week

24-25 School Year

Starts ASAP

What to expect:

You will be a remote tutor for Math or ELA with students across the nation for 3rd to 8th grade. You will see 1 - 3 students for 30 minute sessions. Curriculum will be provided to help with Test Prep. Time will be provided to prepare for each session. Must be able to log into sessions 5 minutes early.

The Tutor is responsible for assisting students in meetingtheir educational goals and aspirations through positive educational supportand direct tutoring. The Tutors is alsoresponsible for enhancing study skills and facilitating the understanding ofeducational concepts. Sessions shouldfacilitate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in an individual,group, virtual or in person setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Teacher Credential Certification/ Licensure as required bystate or contract
• Degree in Education or relevant field as required by stateor contract
• Experience in tutoring, preferred
• 2 years teaching experience, preferred
• Experience or credential in Special Education, preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
