Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Butner, NC
Shift: 12-Hour Days and Night Shifts, 36/48 Rotation
Pay:
- Local Candidates: $50/HR (Overtime: $75/HR)
- Travelers: $2074/week for 36 hours, $2534/week for 48 hours
Start Date: February 17, 2025
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Butner, NC. This position involves working 12-hour shifts with a 36/48 rotation, providing high-quality care to patients with psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' mental health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS certification required
