Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Critical Care (ICU) assignments in Highland Park, IL!

Position Details:

Contract Length: 6 weeks ( ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 2

Start Date: 2/10 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Days or Nights / 7-7

*Will work every other weekend

Setting:

• ICU unit

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years of recent RN ICU/Critical Care experience
• Active IL RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA), NIHSS

TheCritical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability forthe application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in avariety of critical care settings. Consistently performs according to nursingstandards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others inthe management of patient care. Responsibilities include monitoring,assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management, medicationadministration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central line care,catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status. TheCritical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year of critical care experience is preferred
• Minimum of one year acute or critical care experience preferred
• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
