What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN-Psych-Pueblo-CO position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
MUST HAVE MUTLI STATE LINCESE- 3602.00 WEEKLY!!!! FOR 48 HOURS
Note- that this is a process and offers will come about 2 1/2 – 3 weeks before the start date – this must be relayed to candidates.
– submission window stays open for 3-4 days
– offers will come 3-4 business days after submission window closes
– candidates will also be expected to get fingerprinted through CO state (this process will be emailed to recruiter after candidate acceptance of offer – ie manager receipt of signed docs from caregiver)
– there will be a mandatory expectation meeting about orientation with the Amergis manager for those who are starting orientation as the hospital has certain expectations
– All staff must be open to any schedule they are given and not have any scheduling requests/restrictions
– NO RTO will be accepted
