What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN School – ESY position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
School District is currently looking for nurses to fill there ESY summer positions. All positions are Monday through Thursday.
Nurse positions:
- Elementary MLL: 6/23 – 7/23 (8:45 – 1:15) with an in-service day on 6/18
- 12 Month Entitlement: 7/8 – 8/5 (8:00 – 12:00), with an in-service day on 7/7 and 8/6
- Severe Disability/Autism Program: 7/8 – 8/5 (7:45 – 3:00), with an in-service day on 7/7 and 8/6
The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program
- Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
- One year of professionalexperience, preferred
- Current CPR
- PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
