What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
We are looking for SLPs to provide services at the elementary level. The SLP will be assigned to two elementary schools (k-5th) and specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview. The SLP will provide related services per the IEP, attend IEP meetings as needed, and work closely with the special education team.
The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician’s orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
