What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Technician position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specializedtechnical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with thedetection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of theinside of a patient’s body.
Minimum Requirements :
- A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
- One year of experience as an ultrasound technicianpreferred.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ARDMS
- 1-2 years of hospital experience
- Flu Shot before start
- Covid Vaccine (s) & Booster
