The Registered Nurse – Clinic/Wellness/Immunization role focuses on serving the health and wellness needs of a specific population. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate effective clinical judgment to provide quality care in accordance with the facility’s policies and protocols. These sites include community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers’ compensation sites, and travel health clinics, serving patients from pediatric to geriatric age groups.

Position Details:

Location: Lynn, MA
Duration: 13 weeks to start, with a strong likelihood of extension
Facility Type: Primary Care Clinic
Schedule: Mon/Tues, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM & Weds-Fri, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Salary: $58/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administering vaccines
Triaging patients by telephone or in person to determine urgency and level of care needed, ensuring appropriate care disposition
Performing patient procedures, assessing patient health status, and providing health education to patients/families regarding pertinent health issues, clinical conditions, treatments, recommended follow-up actions, and/or home care
Communicating pertinent abnormal test results to the provider
Tracking patients for necessary follow-up and documenting appropriately
Utilizing skills to interact with patients/clients, team members, and staff from other departments

Qualifications:

Clinic or pediatric experience
Charge nurse experience
Bilingual in Spanish/Khmer/Russian with knowledge of medical terminology preferred
