Position: Certified Special Education Teacher – Ellicott City, MD
Start Date: 2/3/25
Length: Full school year Through June
Shift: M-F | 33.75 hr/wk
Classroom Openings/setting:
1. Elementary Academic Life Skills Class (6-7 students across grades)
2. Resource for 3rd and 5th grade students
3. Resource for K and 3rd grade students
4. Resource – 3rd and 4th grade
5. Resource – 5th grade, 8-10 students
6. Elementary regional ALS class (more behavioral needs)
7. Elementary regional ALS class (more behavioral needs)
Additional Detials: First day is in the school working with the IEP chair to establish rhythm and proceedures
General Description: Facilitate Teaching for students that suffer from a range of cognitive or behavioral disabilities. Lesson planning, IEP meetings, developments plans, etc
Requirements/Credentials: Must have Maryland State teaching cert from MSDE
W2 position employee with Amergis Staffing (Not the district), you will only be expected to work hours assigned on the contract. No unpaid required after school duties.
