What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA -Pueblo, CO -Psych/Mental Health position at Amergis?
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN / LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA / NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
Minimum Requirements :
must have CO ACTIVE CNA LICENSE! ( Prior to Submitting)
travel AND Local candidates welcome!
Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years
Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Note that this is a long process and offers will come about 2 1 / 2 - 3 weeks before the start date - this must be relayed to candidates.
hospital will schedule a virtual interview with Nurse
candidates will also be expected to get fingerprinted through CO state (this process will be emailed to recruiter after candidate acceptance of offer - ie manager receipt of signed docs from caregiver)
there will be a mandatory expectation meeting about orientation with the Amergis manager for those who are starting orientation as the hospital has certain expectations
All staff must be open to any schedule they are given and not have any scheduling requests / restrictions
