A local hospital is in need of a locum tenens emergency medicine physician for extra coverage in their ED starting in March / April and through the remainder of 2025 and beyond for a minimum of 2 weeks per month (about 20 shifts per month). Details :
- Setting : ED has no trauma designation; located in Pittsburgh, PA
- Annual volume : 54K
- 25% of total volume are admitted
- 2-6 providers on staff at a time depending on time of day / day of week
- 46 ED beds
- Credential within 60 days (start in March / April)
- Minimum 200 hours (or 20 shifts) per month. Must be able to cover at least 2 weeks each month
- Hours : Must be willing to work weekends and be flexible to all shift times (8-9 hour shifts; apply for specific shift times)
