What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/LVN Hospice position at Amergis?
The LPN / LVN – Hospice is responsible for providing care,comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The LPN / LVN – Hospice assumesthe responsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient carein various settings. The LPN / LVNdemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. The LPN / LVN will also demonstrate criticalthinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.
Minimum Requirements :
Current Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nursefor the state in which the nurse practices
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
