What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/LVN Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) position at Amergis?
New LTAC LPN openings – Topeka, KS
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week contract
- 12 hour shifts and every other weekend
- 36 hours per week – day shift
- Day shift and night shift
- EOW required
The Long-Term Acute Care LPN provides the delivery of directand indirect patient care to medically complex patients under the clinicalsupervision of the Registered Nurse in facilities or specialty care hospitals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current nursing license for the state in which the nursepractices in
- One (1) year nursing experience in a long term acute carefacility preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
