**Job Overview:**
Amergis seeks a skilled Labor and Delivery nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the L&D Setting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, working collaboratively with Mothers during the final stages of pregnancy.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from healthcare members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Plans for expected outcomes of care for those patients assigned.
- Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment.
- Promotes interpersonal relations with patients/family/significant others, hospital healthcare coworkers, and physicians.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
- One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable.
