Amergis Educational Staffing is collaborating with a school in Dartmouth, MA to hire a OccupationalTherapist (OT) to work with students on a contractual basis.
Position Details:
- Location: Dartmouth, MA
- Pay Rate: $45-55/ hour based on experience
- Start Date: April 1st, 2025
- Duration: 13-week contract, with potential for extension
· Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Requirements:
- Valid MA Occupational Therapist License
- Pediatric experience preferred
Description: Seeking anOccupational Therapist (OT) to cover a maternity leave starting on April 1st.The OT will be supported by two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants(COTAs) within the program. The students in the school have multipledisabilities, with much of the work involving evaluations and some therapy. Therole also includes collaborating with internal staff (teachers,paraprofessionals, etc.) to educate them on how to properly support thestudents.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
- One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
