Amergis Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Ultrasound Tech I to join a Women's Health Clinic team in Goldsboro, NC. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasounds, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role requires flexibility, as you may be called in during emergencies or public health events.
Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans and prepare preliminary reports.
Review patient medical records and document required information.
Maintain and sterilize ultrasound equipment.
Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in disaster response as directed.
Qualifications :
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Ultrasound, or a related field.
Considerable knowledge of ultrasound procedures, human anatomy, and medical terminology.
Ability to perform and interpret ultrasound studies.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
