Residential New Construction Specialist

Job Summary:
Ameri Built Homes is growing and is looking for an experienced assistant home builder / punch list coordinator / warranty specialist. The right candidate’s primary responsibilities are project closeouts & punch lists. The candidate will also aid in the construction of multiple homes from permit to closing. This is a hands-on position!

Job sites will be within Georgetown County and Horry County. Company vehicle is provided. Bonus structure provided based upon job completion requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Review plans, specs and change orders
• Set expectations daily with each subcontractor & vendor
• Manage the project closeout and proactively anticipate and manage issues and delays
• Communicate clearly, regularly and professionally with all project team members and homeowners
• Maintain a safe and clean job site
• Manage equipment, deliveries, waste hauling, etc.
• Coordinate all inspections required by local jurisdictions and outside third parties as needed
• Oversee quality control as determined by industry standards and the expectations of our customers
• Assist in tracking and managing changes to the scope of work
• Manage project completion including punch lists and secure all certificates of completion
• Complete all necessary reporting and paperwork as required by the specific project or the client
• Engage and build relationships with our customers
• Maintain company vehicle, cleanliness and maintenance

Requirements/Experience:

• Currently live within the greater Myrtle Beach surrounding area
• Must be able to perform misc. hands on tasks including trim work, painting, cabinet door adjustments, etc.
• Have a keen eye for identifying defects that need attention
• Able to work off lists and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Must be able to work in a team environment, independently & be able to interact with homeowners
• 1 years experience in new home construction
• Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• High level of experience in using a smartphone to take quality pictures, upload to company drive
• Professional and personal references must be provided
• Strong sense of stewardship and the ability to build and maintain relationships with our customers
• Quality and safety focused
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to address complex issues creatively and effectively

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
