Ameri-Force is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our marine construction operations. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects running efficiently. Candidates should have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and be comfortable in a physically active, industrial setting.

Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Inspection: Unload deliveries, verify contents, inspect for damage.
- Inventory Management: Organize, label, and track materials using inventory systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and stage materials for job sites per project needs.
- Material Handling: Transport items using forklifts or pallet jacks; ensure safe movement of heavy or bulky materials.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Documentation: Maintain logs and report inventory discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA regulations; use proper PPE.
- Team Coordination: Communicate material needs and support field crews.
- Equipment Checks: Perform basic inspections on forklifts and report issues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years in warehouse/material handling (industrial or construction setting preferred)
- Forklift experience and/or certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marine or industrial construction
- Familiarity with marine-grade materials
- OSHA 10/30 certification, aerial lift, or logistics certifications
- Experience using inventory systems or barcoding tools
Working Conditions:
- Industrial environment (warehouse and occasional shipyard work)
- Physically active role with lifting, walking, and exposure to noise/fumes
- Monday–Friday schedule with potential for overtime
