What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Installation Technician position at Ameri-Force?
Ameri-Force is seeking a skilled Pipe Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing pipes made of various materials, including steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel, and stainless. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all pipes are installed correctly and safely.
The production areas may involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions, as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day. This position may require working either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time. Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication, and installation of pipe, flanges, and valves is essential.
