Aircraft Mechanic III needed to support the United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center
Qualification :
- Minimum of 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school / Associate 5 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
- Experience in providing technical support to structural / mechanical engineers and customers.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.
- Must possess experience in providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and / or maintenance efforts specifically those related to sheet metal repairs and fabrication of sheet metal parts.
- Required to have the ability to measure and evaluate structural aircraft damage.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to layout, fabricate, repair and assemble sheet metal.
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Aviation sheet metal.
