Looking to hire a Drug & Alcohol Counselor Assistant in Lancaster, PA.
As the Drug & Alcohol Counselor Assistant you will be responsible for providing counseling with emphasis on prevention. You will work with individuals to promote optimum mental and emotional health. You might also help individuals deal with issues associate with substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management, self-esteem, and aging.
\n- A Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field which includes a practicum in a drug and alcohol setting; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field and 1 year of clinical experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a drug and alcohol setting.
- PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal Background, FBI clearances; mandated reporter training, CADC – preferred; CPR / First AID.
