Cleaning Technician

Job Title: Cleaning Technician Job Summary:

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that facilities and properties are kept in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and using floor cleaning machines.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have full-time access to a vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Required 2 years of experience in the professional cleaning sector.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Reliable and punctual.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and industrial settings.
• May require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.
• This position is a 1099 independent contractor role.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage.
• Benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.
• As a 1099 contractor, benefits are not provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.35 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
