Job Title: Cleaning Technician Job Summary:
The Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that facilities and properties are kept in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and using floor cleaning machines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed.
- Restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have full-time access to a vehicle and proof of insurance.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Required 2 years of experience in the professional cleaning sector.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Reliable and punctual.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and industrial settings.
- May require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.
- This position is a 1099 independent contractor role.

Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage.
- Benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.
- As a 1099 contractor, benefits are not provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.35 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
