Job Overview
America Law Group is seeking a part time Legal Assistant to join our team in a small law firm environment. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Answer phone calls and emails, and handle general correspondence.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Input client information into our case management systems, and organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
- Other support tasks as necessary.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and organized, and has the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Reliable and can take the initiative to complete tasks.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Previous experience in a law firm is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
