Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle conflict effectively.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to prevent loss or damage.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner.

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, or similar emergency response training is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Military background or relevant training is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
