Job Summary
The Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of our stores. This includes greeting customers, maintaining patient records, and handling phone calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality customer service while following safety protocols.
- Manage the flow of customers through the store.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol.
- Process managed care plans and obtain necessary document information.
- Provide accurate and basic information to customers.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
- File patient records daily and prepare files for the next day's appointments.
- Check order status and notify customers about delays or arrivals.
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area with all necessary materials.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, as well as manage office supplies.
- Participate in regular mandatory communication meetings.
Requirements
- Experience as a Receptionist or similar role preferred but not required.
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
- Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
