Job Summary
As a General Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, including personnel management, inventory control, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor and meet profit, sales, and performance targets
- Track sales results against budget
- Ensure all associates deliver exceptional customer service
- Conduct market research and provide competitive insights
- Share daily and weekly statistics with district manager and corporate office
- Promote in-store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising
- Hire, train, and motivate store associates
- Foster professional relationships with doctors, colleagues, and customers
Requirements
You must have:
- Ability to analyze business information and technical procedures
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts
- Problem-solving skills to draw valid conclusions
- Maintain relevant state licenses
- Management experience in retail and/or optical industry
- ABO & NCLE certification
- Proficient computer skills
