About the Role
As a Licensing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with city, county, state, and finance regulations by managing license renewals and obtaining necessary certifications. You’ll also support the Legal Department with administrative tasks, document organization, and communication.
Compensation: $15 an hour
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and renew required licenses for dealership operations, finance, sales associates, and service contracts.
- Manage Notary Commission renewals for Car-Mart locations.
- Assist the Legal Department with filing documents, handling communications, and maintaining organization.
- Process and break down invoices by lot for the Legal Department.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and distribute mail within the Legal Department.
- File and renew company documents with Secretaries of State as required by law.
- Help dealerships obtain dealer plates and schedule Electronic Tag (ETAPS) classes for Alabama locations.
- Administer the Arkansas Temporary Tag Program for Arkansas dealerships.
- Coordinate with bond agents for issuing various types of bonds.
- Edit legal documents for attorney review.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documents are easily accessible when needed.
- Follow company policies and support Car-Mart’s mission, vision, and values.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in licensing, compliance, or legal support is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
