Key Responsibilities:
Data Acquisition and Transformation: Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources using Power Query to prepare it for analysis in Power BI.
Data Modeling: Design relationships between data tables and use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to calculate measures for generating insights.
Dashboard Development: Create interactive dashboards with charts, graphs, and maps to showcase key metrics and trends.
Report Creation: Develop customized reports that meet specific business needs, including filtering and drill-down capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business teams to understand reporting requirements and ensure deliverables align with their objectives.
Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Monitor data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and maintain high data quality within Power BI.
User Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users for effective use of Power BI dashboards and reports.
On-Call Support: Be available for after-hours reporting support as needed.
Mentorship: Offer guidance and feedback to team members, fostering their learning and development.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working with large datasets, performing statistical analysis, and building data models.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or at least four years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
