Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Small Claims Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Excel and Windows, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to review documents while maintaining effective communication with courts and attorneys. Previous collections experience and skip tracing is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, format, and manage documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external parties.
- Assist in the collections process, including tracking and reporting.
- Conduct skip tracing to locate individuals as needed.
- Organize and maintain files, documents, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must.
Qualifications:
- Proven efficiency in Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Windows operating systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Previous collections experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with skip tracing a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
