What Do Our IDD RNs Do?
As an RN, your role will involve a range of responsibilities to ensure our clients receive the best possible care, including:
- Provide nursing oversight and care management services for patients with complex medical conditions and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Conduct nursing assessments, including initial screenings, quarterly reviews, and annual assessments, ensuring the highest level of care.
- Provide consultation and support to families and staff in times of medical crisis or health status changes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, modify care plans, and implement individualized nursing plans.
- Attend meetings, participate in team activities, contribute to planning events, and submit reports as needed.
- Maintain continuous communication with recipients, guardians, care coordinators, providers, and state agencies.
- Recommend and develop program procedures to improve health-related support services and nursing oversight.
- Follow all health and safety standards to ensure the well-being of clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Pennsylvania RN license
