Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide critical care support by accurately processing medication orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Administer inhaled medications and other prescribed treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care through effective communication and coordination.
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required. Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support team collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Two years work experience required.
