AmericaM Movers LLC. is currently hiring Drivers /Movers to help grow our company.

Starting wages is dependent on the amount of experience you have driving box trucks and moving. Wages range from $23.00 -$26.00 per hour, depending on your experience driving box trucks and working in this field. If you exhibit skills beyond this pay grade we are willing to negotiate more pay.

There are many benefits for drivers in the moving industry. The best part is the tips you receive. Tips can escalate your hourly wage to $30-40 per hour depending on the amount of tips you receive daily. Therefore, your hourly wage is never your base pay in moving. Movers and drivers can receive daily tips if they perform well on the job and the customer appreciates their work ethic. Tips range from $20-100 per job and can be even more depending on the customer's generosity. Weekly gratuity can range from $100-$400 per week, per mover. This weekly amount can be more. For example: If you took the base pay of $23.00 per hour and added $200.00 in tips for the week that would increase your wage to $29.66 per hour for a 30-hour work week. Tips are not guaranteed but do happen often in this industry.

Driver requirements & duties:

Drivers will need a valid license and no driving infractions in the last three years is good. Drivers can not have any criminal offenses in the past 5 years. Drivers must be able to pass a drug & or alcohol test. This job requires NO CDL but experience in driving box trucks or flatbeds 16ft-26ft is required for this position.

However, if you have a good driving record and delivery experience, we are open to training the right individual.

Drivers duties: maintain trucks and equipment, maintain daily driver logs, help move and load trucks. Drivers must have basic knowledge of tools and be able to disassemble and assemble furniture items. After training and working with us over several months, drivers will lead crews and delegate tasks. Drivers will need great customer service etiquette and eventually learn to collect payments from customers. Also, complete all paperwork required for each job.

Skills: Drivers must hold their weight while working with their prospective teams. Every employee that works at AmericaM works hard. That means no phones while onsite unless it's an emergency or taking more breaks than required by State Law. We like our employees to have the skill of attention to detail. That means going above and beyond for customers and not taking shortcuts to get the job. Over time Drivers will need to be able to load a truck to our standard, if you don't know how to already.

Drivers and Movers Must have the ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees. Employees are asked to have a great attitude, and be professional while on the job. Always be courteous, respectful, and polite when interacting with customers. Employees must be willing to take instructions and follow all job duties required by management and or the office.

Drivers must be willing to work weekends, over-time, and open to a flexible schedule. We are super flexible with schedules too. If you need time off just give us a two-week notice and we'll make it work. This job requires our employees to work any day during the week, so it's only fair for us to be flexible when you give us advance notice.

Movers Position and Requirements:

Mover's base pay depends on experience. Pay ranges from $19.00- $23.00 per hour. If you have tons of experience and can do everything a Lead does the pay can be negotiated. Movers receive tips just like drivers. Tips can range from $20-100 per job and even more. Movers have been tipped 300 each for just one job. Tips depend on your hard work and the customer's generosity. Tips are not always guaranteed but do happen often. Tips will increase your base pay so if you're making $20 an hour, worked 30 hours, and received $200 in tips for the week. Your base pay was increased to $26.66 per hour.

Movers must have no criminal convictions in the past 5 years. These individuals must be able to lift heavy objects (30 to 100 lbs) repeatedly or use moving equipment to lift these objects. Eventually, movers will be trained and required to learn all job tasks such as packing, unpacking, disassembly of furniture, moving bulky items, and loading trucks. These individuals MUST be willing to take orders and follow instructions from their leads. Movers will learn to communicate and work as a team. Movers will be taught attention to detail when wrapping furniture or packing boxes. Most importantly movers must be respectful, professional, and polite when around customers. No foul language or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated. We don't mind joking around and enjoying your time at work as long as it's in a professional manner.

Movers will have the opportunity to move up within the company and take on Lead roles which will increase pay. If movers like they can be trained to drive trucks too. However, you'll need to be 25 years old and have no infractions to drive.

Driver & Mover's positions are part-time and or full-time. If you are looking to make some side money on the weekend and you're good at moving we will work with you.
