What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmologist--Solo Practice position at American Academy of Ophthalmology?
I am looking for a Full-Time Ophthalmologist to purchase and take over my solo practice in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a turnkey opportunity—the equipment, EHR, patients and trained staff are here. Omaha has a population of half a million people with a very affordable cost of living and a strong medical professional and social community. It is also the home of four Fortune 500 companies (including Berkshire Hathaway), two medical schools, the College World Series, a host of restaurants and entertainment choices, the #1 zoo in the country, and an airport 10 minutes from downtown. The clinic location is in a convenient suburban neighborhood, seven blocks from an outpatient surgical center.
This is a comprehensive ophthalmology practice and includes cataract and cornea surgery as well as intravitreal injections if you like. It is an opportunity for a motivated and independent individual who values the ability to chart their own course and control their destiny. Unlike many practice situations, you will have the benefit of autonomy and freedom with your schedule and practice development.
