What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cdl Driver position at American Adventure Expeditions?
Job Purpose: As a professional CDL Driver for American Adventure Expeditions, you will provide safe, clean, and timely transportation for our guests all while adhering to the mission statement of American Adventure Expeditions: To build connection through hospitality focused outdoor adventures!
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (in order of priority):
- Keeping our guests safe will be your top priority at all times.
- Maintaining a positive attitude that exemplifies excellent customer service at all times.
- Performing a pre-trip inspection on all vehicles that will be driven during the day.
- Informing the Operations Manager of any maintenance or functional issues with any and all vehicles and trailers.
- Reporting to the Operations Manager at your scheduled time to discuss your plan for the day.
- Providing guests with timely transportation which will require extremely clear communication and complete understanding of AAE trip logistics.
- Providing guests with a clean vehicle to be transported in. This includes sweeping and trash pick-up before or after each pick-up or drop-off and weekly vacuuming, washing, and window washing.
- Treating AAE vehicles as if they were your own – driving with care and caution at all times.
- Adhere to proper AAE and AHRA protocol at put-ins and take-outs.
Pay Information: This is a seasonal position from May 1st through Labor Day weekend. Pay starts at $25.00 / hour and goes up from there, and will be based upon previous experience and performance.
