**This role can be located in either Louisville, Kentucky, or Washington, North Carolina**

Position Objective:

The AR Manager works in collaboration with the AR Assistant Manager in meeting all department goals established by AAF International. This position is accountable for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the AAF International Accounts Receivable Department.

Key Accountabilities:

• In conjunction with the Controller, may assist on writing and delivering performance review for Analyst under
• supervision.
• Provide update and ongoing training for AR analysts and/or new employees upon Manager's absence.
• Take escalated customer calls from the AR Team, assuring customer with a resolution of matter.
• Research and resolve accounts receivables issues with customers and analyst on a daily basis.
• Assist the team in the timely collections efforts of receivables and prepare defaulted accounts for assignment to private collection agencies, when necessary.
• Ensure AR invoices are paid as close to the Terms specified on Customers contract.
• Monitor and provide daily aging to AR Team and management.
• Process credit card/refund payments.
• Assist Controller in maintaining and updating policies, procedures, and work instructions within the Department.
• Review, approve and/or deny AR team credit/debit requests for adjustments on customers’ accounts.
• Revise and analyze D&B Trade Reports in order to set up/ approve credit limit for new or existing customers.
• Assist AR Manager on conducting meetings with subordinates to ensure compliance with established practices, to implement new policies and keep employees abreast of current changes and standards.
• Participate on the Review of job applications and resumes, conduct interviews, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications.
• Oversee the credit hold on a daily basis, ensuring all past due accounts are contacted and informed on their status.
• Drop ship billings for Flanders Filters (HP) in LX system.
• Intercompany billing for Grainger in BPCS for Flanders Filters (HP)/ Columbia, MO shipments.
• Review daily AR Roll Forward to verify no issues with AR Billings PA Side.
• Close out month end task in Cadency.
• Process AR Recon in Cadency monthly.
• Reviews and matches invoices to the HP shipments each day corrects any errors.
• Assist accounting with any audit requests/issues.
• Approve refund checks.
• Cash in advance accounts volume varies based on order by order.
• Bad debt accounts
• Performs other duties as assigned by AR Manager.
• Process AR Recon in Cadency monthly performance of AR Analyst team, including managing difficult performance situations.
• Responsible for Time and Attendance for Non Exempt in AR Department.
• Responsible for credit hold release daily in BPCS and LX.

Position Requirements:

• Financial Acumen – Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, collections, invoicing, and cash application.
• Leadership & Team Management – Ability to lead and develop an AR team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
• ERP & Accounting Software Proficiency – Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or other financial software.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to analyze AR reports, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Communication & Negotiation – Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and senior management.
• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge – Familiarity with GAAP, SOX compliance, and industry-specific financial regulations.
• Process Improvement & Automation – Experience in optimizing AR processes, implementing automation, and improving efficiency.
• Customer Relationship Management – Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring timely payments.
• Attention to Detail & Accuracy – Precision in processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
• Time Management & Multitasking – Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume transactions efficiently.
