- This job is a member of the Commercial Planning and Analysis Team within the Revenue Division.
- Responsible for managing a wide range of projects that impacts Revenue Management and other Commercial organizations.
- This position will primarily be responsible for project-based assignments that require a mix of strong analytical skills, the aptitude to solve complex problems, and the ability to clearly and concisely present information.
What you'll do
Uses advanced data analytics to identify new revenue opportunities and develop solutions for business unitsLeads the design and execution of A / B tests for identified revenue opportunities, ensuring proper measurement and analysisAnalyzes macro and microeconomic trends to inform and support strategic decisions within the Revenue Management teamSimplifies complex analytics models and presents findings in a business-friendly way to secure buy-in from senior leadershipDiagnoses revenue performance trends and presents insights and recommendations to senior leadership and m entors and trains junior team members in the areas of SQL, Data Visualization and other analytical techniquesAll you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience / training2 year's work experience in data analysis roleExperience in drawing insights from complex data sources and explaining those insights in business friendly termsPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Master’s degree with significant coursework or experience in a quantitative discipline (economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, etc.)SQL query writing abilitySkills, Licenses & Certifications
Knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with software programs used in conducting quantitative analysis (SAS, R, Tableau, PowerPivot, etc.)Ability to develop and adhere to timelines, manage projects with minimal supervision, and work well in team environmentAbility to take action through intelligent risk taking, innovation and entrepreneurshipAbility to travel to meet with key internal and external stakeholders if necessaryWhat you'll get
