- This job is a member of the Labor Relations Team within the Corporate Affairs Division.
- Responsible for maintaining working partnerships with operational areas, which have organized work groups for the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and administering collective bargaining agreements.
What you'll do
Provides prompt and effective support on labor-related issues to management within multiple corporate departmentsManages disputes and negotiates resolutions between union representatives and managementNegotiates new work rules for organized employee groupsManages the administration and interpretation of labor agreements for assigned work groupProvides support for grievance handling up to and including arbitrationDevelops and maintains responsible relationships with labor organizations representing assigned work groupAbility to travelAll you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or equivalent experience / training5 years experience in HR, Labor Relations, or operational management of unionized employees2 years in a supervisory / management positionExperience or formal training in early dispute resolution strategyPreferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Previous contract administration and negotiation experienceAdvanced degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or Human Resources certificationSkills, Licenses & Certifications
