- The Recruiter/Senior Recruiter will act as a recruiting consultant to the business and is responsible for advising on the selection of the best candidates.
- This individual is accountable to manage the talent pipeline, while fostering and executing recruitment strategies to support and fill business needs.
- The Recruiter/Senior Recruiter will work closely with the hiring managers and strategic partners to accomplish departmental and overall business goals.
- Build polished PowerPoint decks for internal and external partners, as well as senior leadership
- Performs industry research and data analysis, generates reporting, and uses results to make strategic recommendations (e.g., which schools/channels we should recruit at, internship program design improvements to attract top talent, etc.)
- Serves as program manager/owner for select early career programs (e.g., Intern Program)
- Uses consultative approach to partner with hiring managers for identified businesses/functions to understand and prioritize job opening requirements, and influences staffing decisions according to business needs
- Engages with sourcing partners and facilitates the assessment process with the hiring manager by conducting thorough intake sessions, clarifying staffing needs and responsibilities, and ensuring job descriptions reflect accurate knowledge, skills and abilities required
- Provides guidance and influence to business leaders to ensure the right people are hired for the right positions at the right time
- Acts as a resource to hiring managers on conducting behavioral interviewing, and facilitates selection process and discussion, to ensure effective, legal interviewing practices
- Manages positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
- Influences overall hiring process to achieve timeliness and agreements
- Facilitates understanding of offer components to gain offer acceptance with the applicant
- Provides hiring manager accurate and timely update on applicant activity, tracks talent acquisition metrics and reports trends and issues to leadership, providing recommendations for improvement
- Ensures up-to-date applicant records in the applicant tracking system for accurate reporting and analysis for their business units and team
- Builds and owns relationships with schools and diversity partners
- Oversees recruiting events and summer intern programming
- Provides recommendations and implements process improvements
- Travel required up to 75% during peak recruiting seasons (fall)
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years’ experience in a recruiting, campus relations, business strategy or similar role
- Knowledge of employment law, corporate recruitment practices
- Knowledge of competency-based interviews and assessment techniques
- Knowledge/prior experience with SuccessFactors or other large enterprise ATS systems
- Knowledge of workforce planning (forecast, identify specific needs, skills, locations, and
- behaviors)
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to tell a story through data and slides
- Excellent relationship management skills, ability to establish credibility and partner with leaders to identify talent gaps, needs, risk and plans for actions
