- This position is responsible for accounts receivable and customer relations for AA Cargo domestic Customer accounts.
What you'll do
Reconciliation of Cargo Customer Credit AccountsAssist Cargo Credit Customers with all types of billing, rating and settlement questionsResearch and resolution of billing discrepancies for customersInterfacing with customer to obtain required documentation for billing / discrepancy audit and correct application of customer paymentsMaintain receivable aging within established targetsWork with customer to secure payment for past due itemsHeavy phone, email and verbal contact with credit customers, AA Sales, AA Revenue Management, AA Operations, AA cargo facilities and 3rd party vendors / partnersAd Hoc project as assignedAll you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Accounting degree or equivalent experience in related field preferredAbility to multi-taskStrong Mathematical, problem solving, and analytical skills are requiredPrevious credit experience is a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with all levels of employees and managementHighly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlinesStrong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, and iCargo preferredPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with ExcelSkills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to work intuitively and cooperatively with a variety of internal and external customersAbility to work independently.Knowledge of Accounting principles, conceptual and analytical skills, and excellent problem solving ability.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word) are requiredKnowledge of SABRE and other commercial systems are a plusWhat you'll get
