Join the Information Security team at the American Arbitration Association as an IS Support Engineer. In this role, you'll provide critical frontline technical support to our organization, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, while ensuring our team members can work efficiently and effectively.
Opportunity Overview
- Work Environment: Hybrid role (3 days onsite/2 days remote) based out of our headquarters in Downtown Manhattan
- Compensation Range: $70,000 - $74,000 annually, plus quarterly incentive opportunities
- Provide responsive first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, or in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices
- Manage user accounts including password resets, access provisioning, and deactivation
- Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring technical issues in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to advanced support teams when necessary
- Support IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment
- Implement security best practices through antivirus updates, patch management, and access controls
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 1 years of experience in a support or helpdesk role, or equivalent combination of education and IT experience
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Active Directory, Imaging Software, Microsoft 365, and basic cloud applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage multiple support requests simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
- Availability to work flexible hours when needed
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols
